Day 14: More Charities to Help

I’ve said before that a special Nobel Prize in Journalism should be awarded every year to NY Times columnist Nick Kristof, who has risked his life more times than I can count bringing us vital stories from troubled lands around the world.

Here’s a list of worthwhile organizations Kristof supports. Like the other charitable groups I’ve mentioned during the 31 Days of Cheer,  these groups do amazing good with very small contributions. Let’s continue talking about the question of inequality in America, but some of these people are so downtrodden that $10 or $20  will make a big difference in their lives. Anyone with a credit card or a PayPal account can send help their way within minutes.
