Well, it’s an ill wind that blows nobody good. The delay of Barry Bonds’ perjury trial until at least July postpones the day of reckoning, but it also
1. makes it even less likely that some desperate team will sign Bonds. Not with this cloud still over his steroid-enlarged head, and
2. means he must drain even more of his fortune on his highly paid lawyers.
