Art Garfunkel’s Amazing Reading List

March 2, 2008 · No Comments

Readers, prepare to be amazed. And perhaps intimidated. Not content to be one  celestial-voiced half of Simon & Garfunkel, as well as an actor and an environmentalist,  Art Garfunkel also has kept a list of every book he’s read since 1968.

I haven’t had time to read the whole list yet, much less the books, but I think Mr. G’s  a few tomes  ahead of me.  Most of these are heavyweight books, too. But, while I haven’t yet tackled Descartes’ Discourse on Method or Rousseau’s Emile,  I did manage to read every Travis McGee novel by the late John D. MacDonald.
